The Nightdive and Atari deal was not received with enthusiasm from fans.

What about the Nightdive and Atari deal?

Last week, Nightdive Studios, the studio in charge of bringing back legendary ’90s shooters like Turok and Turok 2, Blood, Quake, and Powerslave as well as the planned System Shock remake, was unexpectedly acquired by Atari.

Due to Atari’s minimal current reputation, which has resulted from endeavors like the unimpressive Atari VCS and perplexing Atari Hotels, as well as its embrace of cryptocurrency and NFTs, which went as well as one might expect, the news hadn’t been received with universal optimism.
