Microsoft has just announced that this year’s Xbox Games Showcase will be fully streamed this June.
With E3 getting axed again, most developers already have their own events to showcase new games and other announcements. Microsoft has just revealed some details about their upcoming Xbox Games Showcase, which will take place this June. This event will show off plenty of first and third-party games. And there will be plenty of titles to show off since Microsoft has been steadily buying more indie studios to make games for both Xbox and PC.
After the main Xbox Games Showcase event, there will also be a Starfield Direct event. According to the developers, this will give us a better look at Starfield’s gameplay, developer interviews, and other behind-the-scenes information. You can read more about these events right here.
On June 13, Microsoft will also hold the Xbox Games Showcase Extended. Similarly to older editions of the show, it will give more information about the previously presented titles and various developer interviews.
The Xbox Games Showcase will be live-streamed on Sunday, June 11, at 10 am PT (6 pm UK, 5 am AEST). Momentarily no information about what titles will be shown has been released, but all of the titles present will be world premieres for Xbox, PC, and Game Pass. Even though Microsoft has just modified the 1 $ deal for Xbox Game Pass, the service is still worth every penny. And despite British regulators blocking their acquisition of Blizzard/Activision, the deal will still happen somewhere down the road, bringing even more titles on day one to the Game Pass.
