Battlebit Remastered Support class guide

The standard fitting for the Engineer class in Battlebit Remastered.

Limited ammunition is a problem for most infantry troops, especially when in the thick of combat and you hear that hated “click” sound.

Even though most players are trying to run and gun in Battlebit Remastered, some players want to play a more laid-back role offering help to their teammates. Alongside the Medic, the Support class is the other class that is mostly focused on providing help to your teammates while also being able to hold their own in a gunfight. Here are some of the distinctive elements that make the Support class what it is.

Battlebit Support Loadout

A great starting fit for the M249 for the Support class in Battlebit Remastered.

Sadly, when it comes to weapons the Support class is one of the most limited classes currently in the game. You get a total of four LMGs to choose from which is extremely lackluster when compared to all the other classes. Even the Recon class has two weapon classes available, which leads to Support being one of the most underplayed classes in the game. Despite all of this, at least all of those LMGs perform pretty well in the field. The first LMG especially, the M249, is a great starter weapon that can lay down a ton of effective fire on enemy positions.

Your main goal as the Support is to make sure that friendly troops have plenty of ammo while in the field. To help out with this you are the only class that has access to a small and a large Ammo Box. Both of these need to be thrown to the ground to allow friendly players to access them and replenish their ammo supplies. This also applies to grenades and rockets, allowing friendlies to spam them from safe positions. Grenade spam is especially useful when engaging on a bridge, since most of those fights devolve into a chokepoint that gets pushed from one side of the bridge to the other.

Even though they have a limited number of weapons, the Support class does start out with an Exo suit of armor which offers a lot of durability when compared to other classes. This means that you can tank a lot more damage compared to other classes from the get-go, making you a force to be reckoned with during combat.

Resupply, but at what cost

A Support class putting up defenses instantly in Battlebit Remastered.

Even though the role that the Support class fulfills in the game is pretty important, especially since how much ammo can be carried is also influenced by what armor each player has equipped, their effectiveness in combat is rather lackluster. This is why currently Support is one of the most underplayed classes alongside Assault.
