Uniques are the most valuable pieces of equipment that can be found in Diablo 4, and players are scrabbling to get their hands on the extremely valuable ones.
Diablo 4 has multiple types of item rarities, with Legendary and Unique items being some of the most valuable ones. This is due to the fact that Legendaries have Aspects of Power that can only be found on them, while Uniques have their own specific special abilities that can’t be found anywhere else. So let’s go through a quick rundown of each Unique item and what special abilities they offer players in Diablo 4.
Barbarian Uniques
- 100,000 Steps – Boots – After your character gains the final bonus to damage from the Walking Arsenal Key Passive, you will cast Ground Stomp while gaining X Fury. This effect can only happen once every 30 seconds.
- Ancient’s Oath – Two-Handed Axe – Whenever you use Steel Grasp two additional chains will be launched. Enemies that are hit by it will also be slowed by X% for three seconds.
- Battle Trance – Amulet – You can have two more Frenzy stacks. While your character is at maximum Frenzy, all your other skill will get X% more Attack Speed.
- Fields of Crimson – Two-Handed Sword – If you damage at least one mob with Rupture you will make a blood pool that deals X Bleeding over six seconds. Any enemy that is sitting in that pool will also receive X% increased Bleeding damage.
- Gohr’s Devastating Grips – Gloves – After you stop Whirlwind you will explode, dealing X% of your total Base damage to all surrounding enemies as Fire damage.
- Hellhammer – Two-Handed Mace – Whenever you use Upheaval you will also set the ground on fire, dealing X damage over three seconds as Burning.
- Overkill – Two-Handed Mace – Death Blow will now create a shockwave, dealing an additional X% of its Base Damage to surrounding enemies. Death Blow will reset its cooldown if an enemy dies due to this effect.
- Rage of Harrogath – Chest Armor – Your Lucky Hits will have an X% chance to reduce all the Cooldowns of your Non-Ultimate skills by 1.5 seconds whenever you inflict Bleeding on an Elite unit.
- Ramaladni’s Magnum Opus – One-Handed Sword – Any skill you use while having this equipped will deal X% more damage for each point of Fury. At the same time, you will be losing 2 Fury points every second.
Necromancer Uniques
- Black River – One-Handed Scythe – Whenever you use Corpse Explosion up to four more Corpses will be consumed, dealing X% more damage with an X% bigger radius for each extra Corpse.
- Blood Artisan’s Cuirass – Chest Armor – After picking up a Blood Orb, one Bone Spirit will spawn and deal bonus damage which is based on your current Life total.
- Bloodless Scream – Two-Handed Scythe – All of your Darkness skill will also Chill your enemies for a maximum of 40%. Your Lucky Hits will also give your Darkness Skills up to a 100% chance to generate X additional Essence when hitting a Frozen target.
- Deathless Visage – Helm – Your Bone Spear skill will also explode as it travels dealing additional damage.
- Deathspeaker’s Pendant – Amulet – When you use Blood Surge you will also cast a small nova on your Minions, which deals X damage. This damage will be increased by 10% for every extra target drained, up to 50%.
- Greaves of the Empty Tomb – Boots – All of your Sever specters will create desecrated ground wherever they travel, dealing X Shadow damage over two seconds.
- Howl from Below – Gloves – This item completely changes Corpse Explosion. Instead of corpses exploding, a Skeleton will be summoned that will charge a random enemy and explode. Corpse Explosion’s damage will also be increased by X%.
- Ring of Mendeln – Ring – When you have seven or more Minions out, your Lucky Hits will have a 10% chance to empower all your Minions, causing their next attacks to explode for X Physical damage.
Druid Uniques
- Greatstaff of the Crone – Staff – Your Claw skill is now considered a Storm skill. Whenever used, it will also cast Storm Strike.
- Hunter’s Zenith – Ring – You will get a bonus whenever you get a kill while shapeshifted. Werebear: The next Werewolf Skill you use will also heal your character. Werewolf: The next non-Ultimate Werebear skill you use will have no cooldown or cost.
- Insatiable Fury – Chest Armor – You will constantly be a Werebear with this item and all your Werebear skills get +2 Ranks.
- Mad Wolf’s Glee – Chest Armor – You will constantly be a Werewolf with this item and all your Werewolf skills get +2 Ranks.
- Storm’s Companion – Pants – Wolf Companions will now be infused with the storm which allows them to deal Lightning damage while also gaining the Storm Howl ability.
- Vasily’s Prayer – Helm – All of your Earth skills are now considered to be Werebear skills as well and will give you Fortify.
- Waxing Gibbous – One-Handed Axe – Taking an enemy down with Shred will give you Stealth for two seconds. Whenever you break Stealth you will receive the Ambush buff which will guarantee Critical Strikes for a few seconds.
- Tempest Roar – Helm – Any Lucky Hit you land will allow your Storm Skills to have a chance to give you Spirit.
Sorcerer Uniques
- Esadora’s Overflowing Cameo – Amulet – When your character collects Crackling Energy, you have a 10% chance to release a lightning nova.
- Esu’s Heirloom – Boots – This item will give you an increased Critical Strike Chance equal to your Movement Speed bonus.
- Flamescar – Wand – When you are channeling Incinerate, your character will be shooting embers that deal additional Fire damage to surrounding enemies.
- Gloves of the Illuminator – Gloves – Your Fireball skill will now bounce along the ground, causing explosions every time it hits the grand. These explosions will deal less and less damage as the Fireball travels.
- Iceheart Brais – Pants – Any enemy that dies while Frozen has a chance to cast a Frost Nova around it.
- Rainment of the Infinite – Chest – When you use Teleport, enemies that are Close will be pulled towards you and stunned. This will cause the cooldown for Teleport to be increased as a negative effect.
- Staff of Endless Rage – Staff – Whenever you cast your third Fireball in a row, two more projectiles will also be launched.
- Staff of Lam Esen – Staff – Your Charged Bolt skill will pierce enemies, dealing less damage to every subsequent target.
Rogue Uniques
- Asheara’s Khanjar – Dagger – Any hits dealt with this weapon will increase your attack speed for four seconds.
- Condemnation – Dagger – Whenever you spend three Combo points your Core Skills will deal additional damage. All of your Basic Skills have a 30% chance to generate three Combo Points.
- Eyes in the Dark – Pants – Death Trap will continue to re-arm itself until it kills an enemy. This effect only works unless it hits a Boss or Player. It’s cooldown will also be increased.
- Grasp of Shadow – Gloves – Your Lucky Hits will give you a special effect. Whenever a Marksman or Cutthroat Skill hits a Vulnerable enemy, you have a chance to summon a Shadow Clone that will emulate all of your attacks.
- Skyhunter – Bow – Any first attack that lands on an enemy will be an automatic Critical Strike. If your Precision Key Passive had maximum stacks, you will also gain Energy back. This effect only works once for every skill that you cast.
- Windforce – Bow – Your Lucky Hits have an additional chance to deal double damage while also knocking enemies back.
- Word of Hakan – Amulet – Your Rain of Arrows Skill will constantly have all Imbuements active.
Generic Uniques
- Fists of Fate – Gloves – All of your attacks can deal a random amount of extra damage.
- Frostburn – Gloves – Your Lucky Hits have an additional chance to Freeze enemies for two seconds.
- Mother’s Embrace – Ring – Any Core skill that manages to hit five or more enemies will refund some of the cost.
- Penitent Greaves – Boots – Your character will leave a trail behind them that will Chill enemies. Chilled enemies will also receive more damage from your skills.
- Razorplate – Chest Armor – Your character will receive an additional amount of Thorns.
- Temerity – Pants – Any effects that would heal your character above maximum Life will instead give you a Barrier effect that will last for eight seconds.
- The Butcher’s Cleaver – One-Handed Axe – Whenever you Critically Strike an enemy you will also inflict Fear and Slow on them for four seconds.
Ultra-Rare Uniques
- Ahavarion Spear of Lycander – Staff – Your character will randomly gain the effect of a shrine whenever an Elite is killed. This effect can only take place once every 30 seconds.
- Andariel’s Visage – Helm – You have a chance to trigger a poison nova that will deal Poison damage over five seconds to each enemy around you.
- Doombringer – One-Handed Sword – Your Lucky Hits have a chance to deal additional Shadow damage while also reducing the damage output of enemies around you by 20% for five seconds.
- Harlequin Crest – Helm – Your character will gain a bonus to their Damage Reduction stat as well as four ranks to all their skill.
- Melted Heart of Selig – Amulet – You will receive a flat 30% increase in your Resource. Also, whenever you take damage you will first lose some of your Resource instead of Life.
- Ring of Starless Skies – Ring – With each Core Skill that you cast, the next one will cost less, up to a maximum of 40%.
- The Grandfather – Two-Handed Sword – You will get a massive bonus to your Critical Strike Damage.
While the Ultra-Rare Uniques look very enticing, you have to realize that the odds of you getting your hands on one are slim to none. Currently, some of those items have dropped once or twice WORLDWIDE, which has plenty of players complaining that those drop rates need some fixing. But until they do that, you can still enjoy those other Uniques in a myriad of builds.
