Battlebit Remastered Assault Rifles ranked from best to worst

Taking an M4 out for practice at the shooting range in Battlebit Remastered.

Assault Rifles are one of the main gun types in most FPS games, and Battlebit Remastered is obviously no different.

Choosing the right weapon for every map is pretty intuitive in Battlebit Remastered. Assault Rifles are interesting in the fact that they can be fitted for close or long-range combat. Throughout the rest of this article I’ll be only referencing the Grip and Barrel attachments, since they’re the only ones that change the gun’s stats. As far as optics go, these can be interchanged depending on the map you’re playing. If you’re expecting CQC go for red dots, if you’re expecting longer-range engagements maybe try out a 4X. But don’t get fooled by the canted optics, since most of them also give negative effects. Let’s look at all the Assault Rifles the game has to offer and how they perform in combat.

1. AK74

One of the ideal fits for the AK74 in Battlebit Remastered.

The classic Russian rifle, the AK74 performs extremely well from the get-go. It’s an excellent starting weapon alongside the M4, offering great recoil control from the start. The ideal fit for the AK74 should focus on reducing the vertical recoil as much as possible while improving the accuracy. This can be easily achieved with the Vertical Grip and the S D N-6 762 Barrel.

2. M4

An ideal fit for an M4A1 in Battlebit Remastered.

One of the most iconic assault rifles in existence, you’d be hard-pressed to find an FPS game that doesn’t have the M4. Its basic stats are pretty similar to the AK74, even though it has better control and fire rate. You should opt for a Vertical Grip and the V A M B-762 barrel. Alongside the AK74, the M4 is one of the best assault rifles for beginners, with very similar statistics when used stock.

3. SCAR-H

Ideal attachments for SCAR-H in Battlebit Remastered.

Currently the assault rifle with the biggest damage output, the SCAR-H is a great option, even though it also has some downsides. One of the main downsides is the 20-round stock magazine. Even though you can use the extended option, it does have a horrible effect on a ton of stats so you should generally stick to the 20-rounder. Your ideal fit will be the S E-5 Grip and the S D N-6 762 barrel.

4. AK15

The AK15 features in Battlebit Remastered.

The first assault rifle that will be unlocked at Rank 15, the AK15 is quite the beast if fit correctly. It has one of the biggest damage outputs out of all the rifles, being outshined only by the SCAR-H. This gun can take down a lightly armored target in three shots stock, which is a pretty great TTK for this game. Fitting this weapon should be focused on lowering the abysmal horizontal recoil, so you should probably use the B C M- Gun Fighter underbarrel rail and the flash hider.

5. FAL

An ideal attachment fit for the FAL in Battlebit Remastered.

Even though the FAL starts out with a 20-round magazine, it more than makes up for it with high damage output allowing for some extremely quick kills. Two well-placed rounds which include a headshot will take out any soldier besides the heavily armored ones. It does have a rather high horizontal recoil, this can be fixed with the help of the B C M- Gun Fighter and a compensator for the barrel. If you think you can handle vertical recoil by pulling down on your house, you can use the Flash Hider to lower that horizontal recoil even more.

6. FAMAS

Best attachments for the FAMAS in Battlebit Remastered.

The classic French assault rifle, the FAMAS has the lowest damage of all assault rifles. This is complemented by a great fire rate, even though its accuracy and velocity are rather lackluster. To make up for these stats you should opt for the S E-5 Grip and the S D N-6 762 barrel.

7. AUG A3

A screenshot of the AUG A3 in Battlebit Remastered.

Unlocked when reaching Rank 75, the AUG A3 is a very controllable assault rifle with a rather lackluster fire rate. Since we can’t increase the fire rate of the gun with any attachments, you should instead opt for the Stabil Grip and the S D N-6 762 barrel. Paired up with a medium-range scope you can easily take down plenty of enemies from a distance while also being able to take on close-range opponents.

8. SG550

The SG550 features in Battlebit Remastered.

A pretty lackluster assault rifle that works well for CQC, the SG550 has one of the lowest damage outputs. Even though it has a decent fire rate, it will struggle with armored targets. As far as attachments go, you should use the S E-5 Grip and the V A M B-762 barrel. For a rifle that is unlocked at Rank 80, the SG550 is kind of a disappointment compared to other earlier options.

9. ACR

Unlocked at Rank 110, the ACR has great recoil even though it struggles when it comes to the damage output. By attaching the Vertical Grip and the Tactical barrel you’ll turn this assault rifle into an excellent option for CQC. You might struggle with heavily armored targets due to the low damage but anything else will quickly melt.

10. G36C

The German G36C features in Battlebit Remastered.

This classic German modern assault rifle will become available when you reach Rank 120. It has an above average fire rate that can turn most firefights to your advantage, at least in close quarters. Accuracy is pretty bad, meaning you will struggle in medium to long-range fights. The ideal attachments that you should use are the Hera C Q R Front and the Tactical barrel.

11. HK419

Another German rifle that you can unlock when reaching Rank 135, the HK419 offers great damage with good accuracy and decent recoil. Make sure to throw on the S E-5 Grip and the Tactical barrel to fix the vertical recoil.

12. AK5C

Last but not least we have this AK variant which will be unlocked when you reach Rank 145. Even though it’s the last AR to be unlocked, besides good velocity and decent recoil this weapon is pretty average. Ideally you want to throw a B-25 U R K grip on it with a V A M B-762 barrel.

Conclusion

No matter the range that you’re engaging enemies at, there is an assault rifle that can help with that. This is why even though SMGs, especially the Vector, are currently dominating CQC fights, an assault rifle can still give a decent TTK at short range. And compared to SMGs, when push comes to shove you can even take a fight at medium to long ranges, no matter what optic you have equipped. Just make sure to practice your recoil control.
