Is PUBG down?
There are 4 distinct PUBG platforms; Steam (PC), PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games (PC). All of these platforms, host their independent servers across the globe, from parts of the world like Asia (AS), Europe (EU), South Korea / Japan (KRJP), North America (NA), Oceania (OC), RU (Russia), Southeast Asia (SEA). PUBG regularly maintains its servers, with added content (new weapons and vehicles, bug fixers, map updates, and so on) so there is some server downtime involved from time to time. PUBG provides these excellent server maintenance updates on its official website for player convenience. If any of these platforms, and servers, are down, they will be marked accordingly. If you see a green “normal” label next to your server region, chances are that you’re experiencing something unrelated to PUBG’s servers. Check out their official Twitter account (and also the PUBG support account) to see live updates regarding PUBG server status, where they frequently post maintenance, map rotations, new seasons, and a bunch of different types of updates. If none of these work for you for some reason, there’s always the third-party option, Down Detector, where users can submit if they have issues with PUBG connectivity (which is general for all platforms unfortunately).
Keep in mind that these PUBG server maintenance updates are for the live version of the game. The test server does not have a service status, but you can try and play the test version if the live servers are down and you’re feeling like dominating the battlegrounds at that specific space and time.
