Sony has been making massive progress in bringing the PlayStation and PC gaming community closer, an effort Microsoft has also done with Xbox. Console, or PC gamers, we’re all a big happy family!

Can you play PlayStation games on PC? Well, let’s put it this way, the term “PlayStation Exclusive” is starting to fade away in terms of well, reality. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great that PS-exclusive titles find their way to the PC platform, I’m worried that this doesn’t happen more often and closer to the game’s original release date. But beggars can’t be choosers, so we’ve got to work with what we have! In this article we’ll dive deep into all officially ported PlayStation titles to PC, as well as focusing our attention on upcoming PlayStation titles to PC. It’s important to mention that all released Sony PlayStation games for the PC are available exclusively through the Steam or Epic Games platforms.

The advantage PC gamers have over these games consists of mainly three things. The first is performance, a more fluent framerate through the game sessions. Second is the unlocked framerate, as well all know, PlayStation-exclusive titles (on PS4, and PS5) are locked at 60 or 120 frames per second, while the PC ports can do more than 120, as much as your GPU and system can drive, really. The third and final advantage is the ultra-wide monitor support. The normal PS4 and PS5 exclusive titles are locked in the 16:9 resolution of either full HD or 4K, while PC gamers can enjoy the cinematic views of an Ultra-Wide monitor with a resolution of either 2560×1080, or 3440×1440. Add to that graphical improvements and options, mouse and keyboard support, and keybinding adjustments, and you’re in a world of PC customization alright!
