Special editions of games are standard in the modern world of gaming. Offering various types of in-game bonuses, most AAA titles have multiple versions nowadays. Since Diablo 4 is one of the most expected titles of 2023, it’s only natural it would have multiple editions available for purchase. Here is a rundown of all versions and what each of them has to offer:
Diablo 4 Standard Edition
Coming in at $70, the new 60 in the gaming world for big titles, the Standard Edition will only give you access to the game on launch, plus all of the preorder bonuses detailed below.
Diablo 4 Digital Deluxe Edition
With a price tag of $90, this edition will come with the game, plus these items:
- The Seasonal Battle Pass for Diablo 4 will be unlocked on your account on day one
- The snazzy-looking Temptation Mount
- The Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor
Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition
The best package available, alongside the full game this edition will give you these items as well:
- A Premium Seasonal Battle Pass Unlock, 20 Tier Skips for the Battle Pass, and a cosmetic item
- The Temptation Mount
- The Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor
- A special emote for Diablo 4 called Wings of the Creator
Diablo 4 Limited Collector’s Box
This physical box will cost $96.66 when the game is launched. Keep in mind though that this DOES NOT INCLUDE THE GAME, to the dismay of fans. But it does include some exciting items for avid collectors:
- A cool-looking Candle of Creation for those who prefer a little old-school ambience
- Occult Mousepad
- A cloth map of Sanctuary that you can hang up on your wall
- Collector’s Edition Art Book for Diablo 4
- Two matted fine art prints – 18.54″ x 10.79″
- Pin of the Horadrim
Diablo 4 Preorder Bonuses
Physical version
For people who prefer the physical version, their edition will come packaged with these items:
- Amalgam of Rage Mount for World of Warcraft
- Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetic set for Diablo Immortal
- Inarius Murloc Pet and Inarius Wings for Diablo 3
Digital version
If you instead opted for the digital version, you’ll be getting these bonuses:
- The Light Bearer mount for Diablo 4

Diablo 4 is slated for a June 6 launch, with the last open beta starting on May 12. According to Blizzard, this test will go on throughout the weekend, with the primary goal being to stress test their servers ahead of launch.
