The new Elden Ring update containing ray tracing also made Malenia much easier to beat. As long as you have the Cursed Sword.

Malenia seems nerfed with the latest Elden Ring update

Until the new ray-tracing update to Elden Ring, Malenia was perhaps the hardest boss to defeat in the game. In addition to giving The Lands Between a little more polished appearance, the patch seems to have significantly improved a weapon, which will make defeating Malenia a breeze for those of you who haven’t already or who just feel like going back to fight her again.

Morgott’s Cursed Sword absolutely deletes Malenia in Patch 1.09 (60 Second Kill)

Redditor jdyhrberg shows us how the boss can be defeated in no less than 60 seconds with Morgott’s Cursed sword. Morgott’s Cursed Sword was the key to successfully defeating the demigod. Malenia, who had previously gained a huge boost from Elden Ring’s 1.09 upgrade, appears to be completely unprepared as she is beaten without even striking out.

The new Elden Ring update, 1.09, comes with several improvements to the game, the main one being the ray tracing support. From general balance to PvP adjustments and several bug fixes, the patch is really complex.
