While everyone is waiting for news about GTA 6, Rockstar is still busy working on GTA 5 content. They are still focusing on adding content to GTA Online since it still brings in the big bucks.
What makes GTA Online tick?
While plenty of people were skeptical about GTA multiplayer, given that GTA 4’s was somewhat lackluster, GTA Online skyrocketed to success. Various game modes, missions, and even mods have kept GTA Online at the top of multiplayer lists for years.
If you watch Twitch regularly, you’ve seen snippets of GTA RP, one of the most successful mods. It aims to give players a sandbox where they can make their own rules, completing various “jobs” to make money. It has its own set of rules, with some players taking on the role of Police, constantly trying to bring some order.
Los Santos Drug Wars
The main goal of this DLC is to set up your acid lab in the back of an armored RV. You will be introduced to this new “career path” by an NPC named Dax and his gang of “Fooliganz”. This ragtag band is set on becoming the most prominent drug traders in Los Santos. You will have to help them out every step of the way. All missions included in this DLC will land you double XP and RP until December 22.
The DLC adds five new cars to the game, with many more to be added in the coming weeks. The ones that are already out are the following:
- Överflöd Entity MT hypercar – this futuristic hypercar will be available from Legendary Motorsport and the Luxury Autos showrooms
- Declasse Tulip M-100 –
- Zirconium Journey II – this classic RV will be available at the Southern San Andreas Super Autos
- Annis 300R – you can add a ton of Tech Upgrades to this car, including Missile Lock-On Jammer, Slick Mines, Armor Plating, and more
- BF Surfer Custom – a psychedelic RV that you can test drive at Premium Delux Motorsport
Alongside these cars, Los Santos Drug Wars also adds hundreds of new clothing items. So if you like to drip out your character, you’ve just received some new toys. There are also countless other improvements brought to the game. Payouts have been increased for Smuggler’s Sell missions, the ability to launch Business Sell missions, and the ability to take on Agatha’s Casino Story missions solo.
