The upcoming game in Marvel’s critically acclaimed franchise is supposed to land in stores during Fall 2023, according to Marvel. Spider-man 2 is for sure one of the most anticipated PlayStation 5 games for next year and one we’re all looking forward to.
The story in Spider-Man 2 looks promising
As a sequel to the first story Miles Morales shared with Peter Parker, the game is most probably going to break limits. As the spider-duo meets again, they will take on new enemies, better and stronger ones. A new adventure that comes with new challenges is all the fans can wish for.
Without giving any spoiler for those who did not finish the Miles Morales game, we just want to mention that there are so many possibilities for the upcoming game. Plenty of hazards and storylines that can be further explored, as the previous game left space for endless explorable paths. But this remains to be seen next fall when the Spider-Man 2 game will be released.
The Spider buddies will have to face Venom
In a recent post from Marvel, they seem to be teasing the fact that Miles Morales and Peter Parker will have to face Venom in an epic battle. We honestly can’t wait for this epic battle with the graphics and technology of today!
In the reveal trailer, we can hear Venom’s short story where all he ever desired one somebody of equal strength to fight. Looking for “One who could push me, one who could surprise me, one who could even beat me”, Venom says all he ever found was disappointment. But things look like they’re about to change in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The game will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive
Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel and PlayStation are planning to release the game only on the PS5. Given the fact that Sony is planning to release an upgrade to the PS5 console, the long-expected PS5 Pro version (which will be a total monster), we think the game will be a total blast on the upcoming powerful console, pushing graphical and technical limits even more.
This is why Spider-Man two is one of the most expected upcoming PS5 games in 2023. We also think there is a great probability that it will be the feature game for the PlayStation 5 Pro similar to how Miles Morales was the launch title for the PlayStation 5.

As we get closer to the release date reveal, the game is now available to be added to your wishlist on the PlayStation store, however, the game can not be pre-ordered yet.
