Tis’ the season for discounts, and Sony is giving out some great deals with two different sales.
Two year-end sales
The Playstation Store is currently running two types of sales, discounting hundreds of triple-A and indie titles for the PS4 and the PS5. The End of Year sale will feature a ton of very popular games, even including titles that came out in 2022. And for fans of indie games, there is the Playstation Indies sale which includes a lot of classics from a variety of genres. If this sounds interesting, you have until December 21 to get some of the best games that the Sony platforms have to offer, up to 80% off.
Some of the best End of Year offers
With more than 1000 titles discounted, it would be rather difficult to name all of them. If you’re a fan of the Resident Evil series and you want some zombie survival action during these holidays, Resident Evil 2 Remake is down to $10 (usually $40). For anime enthusiasts, you can nab Dragon Ball FighterZ for $9 (down from $60). If you’re a fan of premium versions of games, you can snag Yakuza: Like A Dragon Legendary Hero Edition for $31.49 (down from $90) or Far Cry 5: Game of the Year Edition for $48 (usually $120).
If you want something more recent, you’ll be happy to find out that Gotham Knights: Deluxe for the PS5 is only $49.49 (usually $90). Sonic Frontiers: Digital Deluxe Edition can also be snagged for $49 (down from $70).
For people who want the most value per dollar, you can opt for some bundles like the Star Wars Triple Pack, which includes Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Squadrons, and Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition for just $22.49 (discounted from $90). The Assassin’s Creed Mythology Pack comes packed with Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for $48 (down from $160).
Fighting game fans can get DLCs, and season passes for Mortal Kombat 11, and Guilty Gear Strive for massive discounts. If you missed Bloodborne when it first came out, you could get the Complete Edition Bundle for $17.49 ($35), which includes The Old Hunters DLC.
Playstation indie sales
If like me, you have a massive list of indie games that you still haven’t got to, this might be the right moment to pick up some gems you missed. Death’s Door is only $10 (usually $20), and Inside is available for $5 (down from $20). If you somehow managed to miss the classic indie platformer Limbo, luckily for you, it’s only $2.49 ($10). For fans of roguelike games, if you don’t already own Dead Cells, this is the perfect time since it’s down to $15 ($25).
Make sure that you check out the Playstation Store to see all the hundreds of discounted items. It might take a while to sift through all of them, but you will surely find some hidden gems you might have missed over the years.
