Titled Hildir’s Request, the latest content patch for Valheim has brought a ton of new content that might bring plenty of players back to the game.

Ever since it launched, Valheim has drawn the attention of gamers all around. Whether they’re fans of the survival genre or Viking mythology, there’s something for everyone in this great title. And when paired up with a gaggle of friends, you won’t even know when hours skip by as you take down various creatures of Norse myth. So let’s take a look at some of the new additions that this patch brings to Valheim:

  • A completely new NPC called Hildir the Merchant. Just like her brother Haldor, she offers a plethora of items that can only be bought from her.
  • Three new mini-bosses can be summoned for an extra challenge.
  • Three new dungeons which can be fully explored for new loot.
  • New clothing items, hairstyles, and beard styles.
  • A quick stack button that was sorely needed. By pressing it you will automatically send all items in your inventory to the chest you have open.
  • New multiplayer options for server owners to set difficulty scaling and much more. These can also be tweaked for single-player, allowing players to create the perfect difficulty catered to their play style.
