Pax Dei will be a a wide-open environment controlled by players, where you battle otherworldly creatures and gather resources to build your name.
Several of the folks behind EVE Online, as well as former Blizzard, Ubisoft, and Remedy developers, have joined a new studio to create their own sandbox MMO. Pax Dei, the debut title from Mainframe, is a lot like EVE Online, although it takes place in the Middle Ages and is based on Earth (or somewhere close to it).
A supernatural adventure awaits in Pax Dei
Myths, magic, and the paranormal are real in Pax Dei. In a region guarded by one of the gods, your character will begin with nothing, but as you explore the open world and gather materials, you can construct a house. Pax Dei promotes the formation of communities or clans through a variety of means, such as by granting you larger plots of land when you arrange them next to one another.
Pax Dei is “cloud-native,” and once it debuts on Steam, it will be playable on cloud gaming platforms. There will always be something to do on every platform you play the game on, according to early reports on the game’s development. But, Mainframe didn’t go any much detail during our conversation.
When will the game be released?
Unfortunately, there is no release date announced, but we can expect this might take a while, based on the current stage of development. If you wish to find out more about Mainframe, feel free to check out their website.
