PlayStation 5 restock has been getting a lot better and better since the beginning of 2023.
If you’re looking for the next PlayStation 5 restock news, than this article is for you. We’re constantly updating it with new PS5 restock dates as availability raises.
The PS5 is currently available to purchase in stores like Walmart, Target, GameStop, and Amazon for the intended MSRP price of $500 for the Disk version, and $450 for the Digital edition. If you’re lucky enough, you can even catch a %10 off sale on both Disk and Digital versions that Amazon and other retailers like to offer from time to time. With that said, let’s dive deep and see what kind of PlayStation 5 bundles and editions are in stock right now after so many years of waiting, getting annoyed by PS5 scalpers, and other frustrating reasons.
Available PS5 bundles
Sony seems to put out a new PlayStation 5 bundle with every triple-A game, or major PS5 exclusive. It’s been the case so far with God of War Ragnarok, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, Final Fantasy XVI, and counting more as the year rolls out. These bundles (always the PS5 Disk edition) have a price of $559 which is a great value, as these games are a must when it comes to gaming on the PS5. It’s worth mentioning that these bundles do not include the disc version of the bundled games but rather a voucher code you can apply in the PlayStation Store.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare II
If you’re a fan of first-person shooters and battle royale games, then this bundle is for you. Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is one of the most anticipated (and appreciated) Call of Duty games in recent history. With Warzone II as a free-to-play addition, this bundle can hook you with hundreds, if not thousands of gameplay hours because of its unique replayability.
Final Fantasy XVI
A great choice for any single-player role-playing games enthusiasts and of course fans of the Final Fantasy franchise, developed and published by the skilful studio Square Enix. The bundle contains the PS5 disk edition and a DualSense controller.
God of War Ragnarok
The PlayStation 5 God of War Ragnarok bundle (disc version) is available to purchase right now on Amazon for a fair price of 559 US dollars. This bundle is available to get straight away, just add it to your cart and you’re good to go. God of War Ragnarok is a MUST when talking PlayStation 5, a perfect bundle for a great value.
Available PS5 Disk and Digital editions
Alternatively, if you don’t want any PS5 bundles (for some strange reason as all of these bundle games are a MUST on the PS5), you can always go for the normal PlayStation 5 consoles, disk or digital, whichever you prefer. One thing to note is that currently, PlayStation 5 consoles sold by Sony on Amazon will go through an invitation process, you have to put in a request and you’ll receive a request in 72 hours. You don’t need to do so with the PS5 God of War Ragnarok bundle.
Invitation requested, thanks!
If invited to purchase, you’ll get an email with a link that’s valid for 72 hours. We won’t be able to grant all requests.
PlayStation 5 Disk Edition
The PS5 disk version is a good choice if you’re into collecting game discs or want to resale your games at some point. The downside is that you will need to get up and change discs every time you want to play something else. But hey, it’s good exercise! The PS5 disk edition currently comes at the price of $499.
PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
As for the PS5 digital version, it’s a choice for those who don’t want to put in the exercise of changing disks when switching games. If you’re used to having everything in the cloud and have everything ready with a push of a button, then the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is your choice. The price for the PS5 Digital Edition is $399.
PlayStation 5 restock tracker
We’ll keep coming back and updating this PlayStation 5 restock dates article as new bundles and offers are coming in. With a little patience, you’ll get your hands on the much-requested console in no time!
From what it seems so far into 2023, the console is widely available compared to the previous period last year. We’re not yet at the point where you can 100% get one whenever you want but we’re closely progressing and getting there, hopefully by the end of this year.
There are also a number of rumours pointing to a 2023 PlayStation 5 Pro release date sometime in the fall. We can only imagine how rare the PS5 Pro would be in terms of availability.
Rumours are also going around regarding a much-expected PlayStation 5 Slim edition, sometime later this year, so we oughta keep an eye out for that too, although a PS5 with less performance doesn’t sound that appealing.
