Sony Interactive Entertainment just announced the free monthly games for December 2022. The games that you can redeem if you are a PlayStation Plus Essential subscriber can be found below.
The games will be available on the 6th of December
This month you can take part in God battles in Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition, live through the legend of Commander Sheperd in the infamous Mass Effect Trilogy or explore a post-apocalyptic world in Biomutant.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition for PS4
The legendary trilogy is now free for PS4. Mass Effect is considered to be one of the greatest RPGs of all time. In this masterpiece, you follow Commander Shepard through several galaxies and fight epic battles. In this Legendary edition, we have the three base games in addition to the remastered version for each. The remastered versions bring the game to modern standards and offer you the chance to relieve the story with greater visuals. On top of all that you will also have access to over 40 DLCs. Explore an amazingly rich universe and decide how to affect your surroundings.
Biomutant for PS4 and PS5
Biomutant is a unique kung-fu fable, in the RPG style and set in a post-apocalyptic world. The land is being plagued and their source of life called the Tree Of Life is dying. You can choose your favourite playstyle including melee combat, shooting and spamming with mutant abilities. You can re-program your genetic code to change the way you look and interact with the world. One cool thing about Biomutant is that you can choose your path. Do you want to be a saviour? Then you can go this way and save the land. Do you incline to be a destructive force and lead the world to a dark destiny? You can do it. In Biomutant you can also mix and switch parts to create unique melee weapons, guns and more.
Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition for PS4 and PS5
Divine Knockout is an unusual third-person arena fighting game. You can feel like a god playing the legendary Thor, Hercules and more, totalling 10 characters at the moment. Your objective is to damage opponents and then throw them out of the arena with style. Current gameplay modes are 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3, including multiplayer. The game is launching directly into PlayStation Plus.
How long will the games be redeemable?
The three games will be available for free until the 2nd of January, at no extra cost. The games from last month are leaving the service on the 5th of December. In addition to this, Sony did not announce any other games that might be available for more expensive subscriptions.
