In this in-depth guide, we’ll take a look at all secret room and security key locations on Deston, PUBG’s latest 8×8 map. It’s quite amazing how many secret rooms, trucks, and stashes are hidden throughout Deston’s battlegrounds. Read on to improve your awareness level on Deston and get yourself top tear weapons and gear before heading in the last circle.

Security keys and secret rooms basics
Security keys on Deston can be found in 3 distinct ways:
- On the ground where normal loot can be found (good luck).
- In the black suspended containers marked with the Pillar security company logo.
*Only accessible by drone! - In special areas marked with the Pillar security logo.

It’s important to note that not all security key locations will have a key card. Some of them will have special loot like 6x scopes, adrenaline syringes, C4, suppressors, Self AEDs, and other rare items. Just scout a number of secret drone locations and you’ll eventually find yourself at least one security key in a Deston match.
Secret rooms locations on Deston come in 2 types:
- Pillar security 18 wheels trucks.
- Glass-armoured rooms inside buildings.
So, with the basics out of the way and the high-res 4k map above and its legend, let’s take each area, town, and settlement, one by one to find out where can you find all the security keys and secret room locations hidden across Deston.
Ripton
Ripton is the biggest sky-scraper-style city in Deston. About half of its buildings are packed with security keys, level 3 gear, and crate-level weapons. An important telltale sign of which of these buildings have these special items inside, are the yellow markings. Whenever you see a building with yellow edges at the top, chances are there’s some good stuff inside.
Just make sure you find yourself a drone first before investigating Ripton’s flooded buildings. By following the map guide above, the green buildings have secret rooms with crate-level weaponry and level 3 gear, while the red ones potentially contain security keys. There are a TON of security key buildings in Ripton, so make sure you check a lot of them until you find a key card.
With the circle on your side and a little patience, you can leave Ripton with two crate weapons for each four squad members. Trust me, I’ve tried it…
Los Arcos
The second city in size, Los Arcos packs a few special loot locations worth investigating. There are two secret room locations (both in the buildings with interior courtyards) situated on the northwest and south-central side. The secret rooms on these buildings are located on the roof as showcased in the image above.
As for security key locations, the red markings on maps represent areas and buildings accessible via drone, where you can potentially find a security key.
Ten Forts
There is a single drone container and one Pillar loot truck in Ten Forts. The container is located between two warehouses (central north) as indicated on the main map and the Pillar truck is just outside Gabriel’s Market (central).
Carpenter’s End
Just like the Ten Forts town, Carpenter’s End only has one drone container and one Pillar loot truck. The container is situated northwest in the four warehouses’ yards, while the Pillar truck is parked in front of Gimble’s Muffler & Break store.
Concert
The Concert area provides a Pillar loot truck located just in front of the main stage (where the loud rock music constantly plays) and two secret key locations accessible only by drone. The first location is on the ceiling of the main stage (a wooden plank marked with the Pillar sign), while the second is in the top cabin of the Ferris wheel.
Assembly
Assembly hosts two Pillar containers accessible by drone and one secret room location. The containers can be found in the two warehouses (east) relative to Assembly and are hanging from the ceiling while the secret room is located between the mentioned warehouses on an alley.
Wind Farm
The desolated area of Wind Farms provides a loot truck situated in the intersection near the jump tower and a secret key container located in the intersection of the middle island near a billboard.
Buxley
The city of Buxley provides one drone container situated in the industrial warehouse area (west relative to Buxley) and a Pillar loot truck standing right outside of the convenience stores, central on the main road. The two areas are close to each other, you can’t miss them.
Construction Site
There are two drone containers hanging from the two cranes present on the Construction Site plus a Pillar loot truck located just at the northeast entrance behind the right Mesopotamia billboard.
Turrita
You can find one drone container in the northwest corner of Turrita (in front of the garages) and a Pillar loot truck located near the stores just before the truck parking lot begins.
Barclift
There’s a Pillar drone container in Barclift situated in the southwest trailer park just at the very entrance. The Pillar loot truck can be found on a dirt road between the north and southwest settlements, near the Make Your Way Downtown billboard.
Cavala
Cavala is home to one drone container which can be found between the two warehouses located northwest, and a Pillar loot truck parked on the main Road of Cavala in front of the Tornado’s Burgers joint.
Hydroelectric Dam
The Hydroelectric Dam can be a little confusing to navigate but it’s worth checking out as it hosts two potential security keys and a secret room. There’s a drone container located in the southeast yard, plus a secret drone area in the turbine room northwest just above the main entrance from outside. The secret loot room is at the end of the hallway when entering the southwest turbine room.
Lodge
The Lodge hot-drop is home to a drone container located on the helipad outside, a secret drone location accessible via a vent in the underground level of the main cabin where you’ll also find the secret room.
Arena
If you find yourself landing at Arena, make sure the check out the two drone containers, one in the northwest yard, and the second just in front of Arena (south) near the main road. The secret room can be found in the main building (one with the huge billboard in the middle, west relative to Arena) right side as you enter from the south entrance.
El Koro
The small town of El Koro provides a Pillar loot truck parked outside of the hotel on the west side. This hotel building also provides a drone-accessible window where you can get a security key. There’s a single drone container situated in front of the big warehouse (central). Apart from these notable secret locations, El Koro has additional buildings with secret rooms packed with security keys. These buildings are marked in red in the main map guide.
Sancarna
As with other small towns and settlements, Sancarna only has one drone container (situated between a bunch of apartment buildings’ central position relative to Sancarna), and a loot truck parked right outside of the biggest apartment building next to the massive billboard.
Holston Meadows
Yet another ‘one container and one loot truck’ town. This time, the drone container is situated just outside of the Gabriel’s Market store, while the Pillar loot truck is between the Burrito Brain joint and the Guzlr gas station.
Remember to first get a DRONE before exploring these secret areas!
