The day before beta testing has been announced! The release date was also confirmed, is it going to be real this time?
The Day Before was one of Steam’s most wish-listed games, but it was eliminated from Valve’s store due to an obscure copyright lawsuit filed by someone who claimed to own the game’s name. Now, developer Fntastic has announced on their official discord channel that The Day Before beta version will be released someday prior to the game’s release on the 10th of November, and has also promised to bring the open-world survival game back to Steam’s store page.
The Day Before’s release date was delayed three times
Over the last few years, the release date of The Day Before was delayed three times, the most recent delay being caused by the lawsuit mentioned above. Some people say that the game is not even real and that it will never be released. well, that remains to be seen as the developer confirmed on their official discord channel that the game will be released when they previously promised:
“We have some exciting news to share with you regarding The Day Before. We are pleased to announce that the game will officially release on November 10th 2023 without any further delay.”
The developer also confirmed that they are still working on the game, showing gratitude to people for being patient:
“We understand that many of you have been eagerly waiting for the release of this game, and we want to thank you for your patience and support throughout the development process. We have been working hard to ensure that the game meets our high standards, and we are confident that it will be worth the wait.”
Beta testing will happen
Fntastic also announced that the game will have some beta testing as the game gets closer to the release date, however, without any exact time being mentioned:
“As we get closer to the release date, we will be conducting a beta test for the game. This will give players the opportunity to try out the game before it is released and provide valuable feedback that we can use to improve the final product. We will provide more details on the beta test as we approach the release date, so be sure to stay tuned for updates. We look forward to sharing the game with you and hope you will enjoy playing it as much as we have enjoyed creating it. Thank you for your continued support. Regarding the beta all the information will be given, wait for the announcement.”
