We’re getting closer and closer to that “summer 2023” milestone, where Valve promised to release Counter-Strike 2.
Following the announcement of CS Rating, the brand new MMR system for Counter-Strike 2 on September 1st, CS fans across the globe can now receive early access to the game if their account is eligible. In a recent Twitter post earlier today, Valve announced a brand new wave of CS2 invites, thus closing the gap and making the transition from CS:GO to CS2 smoother. To learn more about how to get early access to CS2, visit our attached article, but in short, you need activity on the official servers of Counter-Strike Global Offensive, you would need to be in a Competitive Skill Group, and have the Prime Status active. Quite a number of requirements for the average gamer, but if you’re an avid Counter-Strike player, than this will be a piece of cake!
We've just sent out another wave of CS2 Limited Test invites. Good luck and have fun!

If however you’re not one of the lucky ones and your account is not eligible for a CS2 invite, then you’ll have to wait like the rest of the world until the release date of Counter-Strike 2, which is still officially unknown. The “summer 2023” placeholder date, has officially passed with over a week, but Counter-Strike players speculate on a late September (2023, hopefully) release. So bear a little longer with Valve for only a few weeks until the much-expected Counter-Strike 2 release sees the light of day.
