Nexon has been working on Veiled Experts, an upcoming tactical shooter that combines battle royale elements with a more classic 5v5 experience.
Veiled Experts is a 5v5 third-person tactical shooter which focuses on quick and easy to get into action on pretty small maps. The story revolves around teams of special operatives fighting on behalf of various government agencies, corporations, and terrorist organizations. All of this strife is due to a new technology called Lepton that can enhance humans’ physical and mental capabilities. This means that alongside the standard fare of guns we’ve come to expect from most shooters, each operative will have unique abilities.
This beta will offer multiple game modes throughout various maps. It features destructible terrain, ensuring that players have plenty of tactical freedom in approaching every engagement. Veiled Experts also features weather effects that can change at the drop of a hat. And to ensure that players will never grow bored, there is also a battle royale “circle” mechanic that will force you to be on the move constantly. The open beta will have a total of nine operatives and multiple game modes.
If you want to join the Veiled Experts open beta, simply go to the game’s Steam page and request access. If you login throughout this weekend, you will also get a Black Mamba skin which works on all agents. You can even follow their live Twitch channel for the chance of getting additional Twitch drops filled with in-game rewards. Veiled Experts will be launching sometime in the second quarter of 2023 for PC.
