Speaking of which, the process of screen-sharing your favorite gaming moments from your Xbox to your Discord friends is surprisingly easy. Simply follow these few steps and you’re all set!

The first thing you’ll need to do is link your Discord account to your Xbox, a fairly simple task to do. Afterward, simply press the Xbox button to open the overlay guide menu, scroll until you see Parties & Chats, and then choose Discord. Select your favorite Discord server, choose a voice channel, and there you have it, it’s streaming time!

In their blog post announcement, Xbox also recommended Xbox Insider users to join their Reddit community, where they can help with bugs, get support for newly implemented features, and in this case, make a better Xbox-Discord connectivity for the future. It’s great to see this much-asked-for feature coming to Microsoft’s gaming platform. Not being able to stream playthroughs on your Xbox to your Discord friends is finally a thing of the past.

How to get in the Xbox Insider program

If you are not an Xbox Insider, however, fear not. Here are the simple steps you’ll need to follow in order to get early access to Xbox features such as this Discord streaming integration.
